Just announced this week: My assigned role for Volume 52 of UCLA L. Rev. will be Senior Editor. What does that mean? Once articles and comments are accepted for publication I'll be assigned pieces to edit, first "from an organizational and substantive standpoint" (so says the job description). After the author's review, the piece will come back to me for a second round of editing, to tidy the grammer, punctuation, et cetera. The Review publishes six times per year, which makes for a regular cycle of editing work.

Update: The Volume 52 masthead has been posted to the (slightly revamped) Review website. The volume staff will be chosen as part of this year's write-on competition.
