thirteen inches'/forty-five pounds' worth o' law
Just when I was starting to feel a sense of accomplishment--my Comment was published and tomorrow is my last day of law school classes--I made the mistake of picking up my set of books from Bar/Bri for the bar exam review class that starts a week after graduation. Although much of the material I've already covered at some point in the last three years, I felt a little weak at the thought of stuffing thirteen inches' (or forty-five pounds') worth of law into my tired brain.
I'm trying to remind myself that this really is the home stretch; that graduation will represent one giant hurdle that's been crossed, and that studying for the bar, and taking the bar exam, are just two more hurdles. Only two more! But now I feel very tired, strong enough only to walk slowly to the nearby Urth Cafe and get one of their miniature blueberry cheesecakes. Soooooo tempting.
Two classes tomorrow, followed by three exams (two that will run eight hours each, and one that's a nice, tidy, three-hour exercise). So...back to the books...
