possum encounter

There doesn't seem to be much to say amidst all the recall election news, but Wallace and I did have a brief encounter with an opossum yesterday morning. While taking care of his morning business, Wallace noticed that he was being watched. There, peeking out from behind a car tire, was a possum! We've seen them at night, waddling down the sidewalk, but this was the first time we saw one during daylight hours. He scampered off somewhere, but somehow made my day.

My accounting final exam is this Friday, so it's back to the debits and credits for me...
